Masks! Goody, goody, goody.

It’s a trifecta of kindness, generosity and safety.

First, the obvious: you gotta wear a mask. It keeps you safe and protects the health of others. We hardly need to say this because you stepped up to the plate on this one, and never looked back. Thanks, really.

Second: the masks are made by Abrazos San Miguel, a collective and shop in San Miguel de Allende that celebrates Mexican culture and traditions with textile products. Their products are made by local, fair-trade seamstresses whose ability to work at home supports 15 families and a community that includes more than 80 people.

And the third “goody:” all of the profits from the sale of these masks will be donated to a local food-related charity.

We’re asking for a donation of $15 per mask, and there are 6 different patterns to choose from. Stop by the Cookbook Table and do three kinds of good.
